Assistant, Management/Production At 2Am

The Company

2AM is an LA & NY based management and production company that specializes in supporting and representing auteur-driven filmmakers and talent. The company was founded in 2020 by Christine D’Souza Gelb (formerly of WME/Endeavor Content), David Hinojosa (formerly of Killer Films), and Kevin Rowe (formerly of Elia). 2AM produced Halina Reijn's A24 hit BODIES BODIES BODIES and Celine Song's debut PAST LIVES which made waves at the 2023 Sundance film festival. The company also represents exciting creators such as A.V. Rockwell (winner of the Grand Jury Prize at 2023 Sundance FF), Dominic Fike, Halina Reijn, Sonoya Mizuno, Elegance Bratton, Janicza Bravo, Jeremy O. Harris, Matt Spicer, and Savanah Leaf. 2AM was launched in strategic partnership with A24, the Oscar-winning studio behind films such as EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE, MOONLIGHT, UNCUT GEMS, as well as the hit TV series EUPHORIA.

The Role

2AM is currently seeking an Assistant to the CEO, a role to provide administrative support across one desk as well as coordinate operations for the Management Department of 2AM.
Responsibilities

• Track and submit monthly expenses for CEO
• Input contracts with payment steps and invoicing and tracking payments
• Create grids and maintain internal databases for tracking talent, projects, incoming and outgoing submissions, and weekend read lists
• Write concise coverage of scripts, help assess a wide range of material, and provide constructive feedback to managers for representation consideration and development of producing projects in film and television.
• Assist in sales, financing and distribution tracking for film sales on our slate and managing financier grid
• Schedule meetings, phone calls, zooms and manage calendar
• Liaise with clients including scheduling, accounting, as well as occasional coordination of travel, accommodation, and publicity
• Answer, direct, and track a high volume of phone calls and phonesheet
• Day-to-day administrative support to the CEO
• Track film festivals for representation consideration

Qualifications

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience on a high volume desk and dealing with high level talent and executives
• Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills
• At least 2 years agency or management company experience preferred

This position is overtime-eligible with a target hourly rate between $22 and $24. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting hourly rate within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
