Position Title: Manager Strategic Sourcing (Professional & Corporate Services)
Position Summary
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Professional & Corporate Services, is a key member of the Sourcing leadership team responsible for managing a team of Crewmembers and developing / executing strategies to effectively manage external spend across the Infrastructure, Facilities, People, Marketing and Travel categories. In this role you will lead the supply management process, including market intelligence, financial analysis, sourcing strategy, and negotiation. You will partner with stakeholders across the company to reduce total cost of ownership while meeting key business objectives such as quality of service and on-time program delivery. To be successful you will need to be an effective communicator who is able to work across levels and someone who enjoys developing talent. You are also someone who is a confident negotiator, motivated, and results oriented.
Essential Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and maintain Business Partner relationships in a way that delivers business results, track performance and ensure accountability (performance management) while upholding the JetBlue Values and compliance with all requirements, internal controls and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Partner with Leadership to create and execute a category plan that aligns to Company goals, policies and financial expectations
- Conduct regular meetings with business units, advising them on spend management and coordinate the execution of the agreed strategy, address Business Partner and other supply issues, and monitor the progress of the agreed upon strategy
- Proactively monitor market intelligence trends that impact the category and adapt strategy to mitigate risks
- Identify future sourcing opportunities to obtain optimal value for JetBlue and their respective business unit including estimating the cost savings benefits for sourcing opportunities and evaluating Strategic Sourcing performance metrics (KPIs)
- Develop and execute the Business Partner management program for the category including supporting diversity initiatives
- Manage the category team to ensure execution of strategies and day-to-day activities including driving projects forward to on-time and under-budget completion
- Serve as the Sourcing category owner for Infrastructure, Facilities, People, Travel, Marketing, and other categories as assigned
- Take a significant role in the development of Crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement and development of the succession plan and for the department
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Comfortable making presentations to senior leadership
- A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate themselves and others
- Proficient in procurement and strategic sourcing processes
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Proficient in financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Five (5) years of supply management, project management, or equivalent experience
- Possesses strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills; track record capturing value and savings
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Able to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance or Economics
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Advanced financial analysis/Excel skills
- Master’s degree
- Experience with complex services agreements and negotiations
Crewmember Expectations:
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
- Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management System
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $105,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
