We are in search of a Learning and Organizational Development Manager to join our team! Our future L&OD Manager is someone who manages all aspects of L&OD programs for Entertainment Partners. This role will oversee, design and deliver trainings and resources for all levels using various learning delivery methods as well as define learning strategies and design talent development programs that include assessments, curricula, experiential learning and evaluative metrics. Trainings and resources include interpersonal skills, customer experience, leadership, performance management, and more. The role will also manage initiatives and review current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Collect and analyze data and qualitative feedback on impact/success of deliverables, including providing reporting (dashboards, results, etc.) and recommendations based on the feedback.
  • Develop evaluation and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Research vendors for deliverables (within approved budgets) and manage vendor relationships.
  • Oversee, support and deliver practical consultative activities, specifically in the areas of leadership development, change management, and succession planning.
  • Support in the development and delivery of compliance and operational training throughout the year; ensuring compliance across EP.
  • Oversee all learning programs including instructor-led training materials, workshops, e-learning, tutorials, reference guides, job aids, blended learning, and presentations.
  • Manage the day-to-day management functions within the L&OD Department including but not limited to scheduling classes, maintaining training documentation, handling attendance records, pulling reports, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment etc.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Conduct assessments through surveys, interviews with employees, and consultations with managers.
  • Collaborate and partner with HRBPs, SMEs, and company leadership to create engaging learning experiences that support employee development and company growth.
  • Provide short-term professional development coaching and advise leaders on best long-term actions for employees at all levels.


Job Requirements/Qualifications Needed


  • A minimum of five to seven years of experience in facilitation and instructional design, including off-the-shelf curriculum, measurement of training effectiveness, and organizational development.
  • Ability to work productively on multiple projects/courses simultaneously.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Experience using on-line collaboration and training development tools, including Articulate and working knowledge of LMS management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior attention to detail, and the ability to organize and express ideas clearly.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to project and goal reprioritization.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders to align the business strategy and organizational needs with the appropriate L&OD solutions.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a people supervisor/manager
  • Excellent consulting and customer service skills demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles and build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources or related field a plus!
  • Proven knowledge and abilities in the principles and practices of learning and organizational development.
  • Experience with Kirkpatrick or Phillips levels of evaluation to measure training effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated with little direction, and passionate about learning and development.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time or as needed.
  • Strong project management (beginning to end oversight) and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem- solving skills with results orientation.


The annual salary range for this position is $93,700 - $130K and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
