Job Description

Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking an Attorney Learning & Development Coordinator to join their team!


Contract To Hire(6 Months)

Hybrid: In Office at Least 1 Day a Week


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Attorney Learning Administration and Infrastructure

Attorney Learning Project Support: Prepare reports, memoranda, other documents, and correspondence required by Attorney Learning & Development, Firm leadership, and other internal and external clients; schedule meetings, teleconferences, appointments, and programs.

Attorney Learning Program Administration

Attorney Learning Programs and Workshops:

Serve as a backup in the coordination of firmwide, regional, and office training and development programs.

  • Create and maintain learning paths in the LMS.
  • Receive and tabulate training evaluations.
  • Prepare and distribute announcements and invitations to attorneys and local office training contacts.
  • Survey attendees in MS Forms and suggest improvements to future programs.
  • Arrange for distribution of materials and recordings.
  • Arrange for programs and materials to be added to the online catalog of programs.
  • Serve as lead contact for attorney presenters, practice group administrative contacts, and technology services representatives as necessary.
  • Coordinate the process of gathering and assembling presenter materials.
  • Arrange for video recording, conference rooms, and appropriate technology and equipment and oversee technology staff members in ensuring that objectives are met.
  • Save attendance records from live programs for CLE compliance.


Description:

  1. Help with large workshop needs, assisting members within the Attorney Learning & Development Group and other groups throughout the Firm. Participate in regular meetings with team members; ensure that relevant parties are informed of new developments. Work with Travel and Events as necessary to ensure that event flow is smooth. Interface with attendees and presenters, and make on-the-spot decisions to resolve problems.
  2. Serve as a resource for attorneys, in preparation for and at such events, including serving as a creative on-the-spot problem-solver as issues arise; serve as backup for team members as the need arises.
  3. Serve as contact for learning questions; escalate questions as necessary (e.g., information on upcoming in-house programs, CLE matters, outside education approval matters, information on accessing training resources online and through Research Services, etc.)
  4. Assist the Attorney Learning & Development Group in carrying out various other firmwide, regional, and office initiatives, assuming primary responsibility where appropriate.
  5. Research past training materials in both our storage and in AnswerBase.
  6. Schedule Attorney Learning & Development Group meetings.
  7. Process and upload invoices and expense reports to Chrome River.
  8. Research projects about how to fix or improve something with IT, lists of vendor offerings, and other kinds of information that can easily be retrieved by an admin online or within Firm systems.
