Our Inside Sales team holds a strategic position at the top of the sales funnel for the Inside Sales organization. We are looking for a hardworking manager to help lead this team and ensure their individual, and career, growth while aligning to the goals of New Relic. You will define and align sales development goals, strategy, and tactics to our go-to-market initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with sales and marketing groups to improve pipeline creation.
You’ll have a deep understanding of all areas of the sales cycle and understand the Marketing Funnel and nature of each stage. As a people manager you’ll be a strong coach, have the ability to put the team first, solve problems and work well under pressure.

- Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the Inside Sales Representatives focus on improving performance
- Motivate ISRs to exceed goals through coaching and incentives
- Work with GTM leadership to optimize pipeline and revenue creation
- 5+ years sales experience
- Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bachelor of Arts or Science, or relative degree of study
- 3+ years experience managing a team
- Ability to train, coach and mentor sales development representatives
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com

The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the on target earnings (salary plus target sales incentives) for the listed position. This role is eligible for a commission plan (as defined in the sales incentive plan document) and a competitive equity package.
