Job Description

Job Title: Manager HR Salty Snacks

Job Location: Hershey, PA

Pay Band:


The preferred location is Hershey, PA but this position is open for 100% remote.


The HR Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager provides primary HR business partner support for The Hershey Company’s Salty Snacks organization and leaders. While the HRBP is responsible for working with these groups, as part of a larger, flexible team of business partners, the HRBP may, as business needs mandate, support other organizational areas or projects.


The HRBP’s role is to build the leadership capability, organizational capability and culture that enables Hershey to achieve its objectives. This is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of core HR programs and processes (e.g. workforce planning, high performance teams, employee engagement), executing new organizational development projects (e.g. change management, project management, organizational design), and providing coaching and advice to Sr. Leaders. Additionally, the HRBP will partner with HR Center of Excellence teams to drive recruitment strategies, compensation reviews, and talent and training solutions.


The HRBP will leverage data and insights to identify opportunities by assessing needs, translating the needs into requirements for the right solutions, and working with the Director HR Salty Snacks to prioritize strategic projects. The HRBP will work collaboratively with clients, within HR, and across other functions to deliver value.


Position will require some travel (~1 trip per quarter).


Summary of major duties:


  • Designing HR solutions
  • Consulting, conducting needs assessments that leverage data, and developing credible business cases and initiative proposals
  • Coaching and advising leaders
  • Planning and delivering HR processes and projects for a business area



Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:



Education:



• Bachelor’s Degree required (a concentration in Human Resources preferred)



Experience:


4+ years’ experience performing in a variety of HR roles with strong generalist experience:



• Diagnose opportunities for organizational improvement using data and insights
  • Handle sensitive Employee Relations matters
  • Conduct investigations into potential violations of company policy
  • Partner with talent acquisition to develop short- and long-term talent pipeline strategies
  • Partner with learning and development team to build and deliver learning strategy and programs
  • Design and deliver change plans for large scale projects
  • Lead performance management and talent management processes
  • Coach, advise and positively influence leaders
