We are looking for a data-driven email & mobile marketing CRM Manager to join the Saks OFF 5th Digital Marketing team to implement and optimize marketing campaigns across our customer engagement channels, including email, SMS & Push. The CRM Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of advanced segmentation and personalization strategies, leveraging 1P data and machine learning to improve customer audience targeting and support acquisition and retention along with business goals. This individual will partner on A/B test plans and customer journey builds to help optimize campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical and creative mindset.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of email marketing or CRM experience (retail/fashion industry is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills
- Data-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented
- Prior experience working with ESP is required (Cheetah Digital or another enterprise-scale ESP preferred)
- Highly collaborative with excellent project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing)
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and is good at dealing with ambiguity
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, curious and innovative mindset, with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities without full guidance
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and analytical tools (ie. Adobe/Omniture)
- Familiarity working with CDPs
As the Manager, CRM, you will:
- Partner closely with Content, Digital Strategy, and Creative teams to share the vision for CRM content strategies, and share best practices and performance results for lifecycle marketing campaigns
- Manage and mentor 1 direct report
- Support the management of 3rd party agencies and vendors to ensure optimal performance and responsive issue resolution
- Partner with the Sr. Manager, CRM to ideate and concept customer journeys and personalization initiatives that support business objectives
- Monitor and support reporting on cross-channel database growth and list health
- Collaborate with Analytics, Data, and Product teams along with external partners to support the implementation of new CRM initiatives. Support the Sr. Manager, CRM on technical and business requirements for platform migrations
- Analyze campaign performance and share insights on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis. Champion and report on critical internal initiatives around segmentation and testing plans
- Manage the end-to-end execution of lifecycle marketing communications across email, SMS and Push marketing channels, from concepting to deployment
- Research and perform competitive analysis on best-in-class CRM practices across the retail landscape
- Build customer segments, drive marketing automation, and develop customer journey maps to target users with relevant and personalized content
- Support the maintenance of CRM playbook documentation
- Work closely with the Sr. Manager, CRM to develop A/B testing and segmentation plans to optimize campaigns across channels
- Build CRM reporting dashboards, in close partnership with the Analytics team and 3rd party agencies
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $100,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
