We are currently seeking a VP of Retail Excellence who will report to the CEO, Americas as part of our dynamic team in New York.
How you will contribute:
Business Intelligence & Retail Performance:
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and foster synergies to improve overall performance.
  • Develop in depth knowledge of competitive landscape particularly related to innovation and the evolution of business models
  • Analyze financial information and KPIs to identify areas of business opportunity and improve processes connecting these opportunities to larger strategic initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor and supervise the retail performance and CRM team to prepare financial analysis and reporting on KPI’s for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Challenge and review existing processes to optimize efficiency and develop sales strategies.
  • Partner with Global and Regional VPs of Retail to plan and execute special projects and activations.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between departments to establish effective partnerships and advance regional retail strategy.
  • Analyze retail employee performance, identifying top performers, emerging talents, and opportunities for improvement, and liaise with Regional VPs and HR to ensure retail teams have the necessary tools for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with CEO and VPs of Retail in preparing business reviews.
  • Oversee sales and KPI results, collaborating with Regional VPs to implement action plans at the local level to achieve business objectives.
  • Study the results and return on investment of commercial events, providing follow-up recommendations.
Retail Training:
  • Ensure animation and development of Training Ambassadors across the network
  • Develop seasonal retail training content to enhance the skills of our store personnel and ensure effective program implementation.
  • Lead Regional Trainers in delivering training programs, including induction for new hires, client journey, product training and skill upgrades for existing employees.
  • Partner with HR Team to implement initiatives related to employee lifecycle
Client Engagement:
  • Lead the strategy for personalized 1:1 interactions between sales associates and clients.
  • Create segmented gifting and personalized experiences to delight and reward clients
  • Coordinate all touchpoints across the client experience with a multichannel vision.
  • Identify and implement appropriate tools for client management (e.g., Luce Places, Luce Store Manager, Luce Wire) and provide coaching to local teams on their effective utilization.
Project Management:
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and create synergies to improve performance
  • Challenge and review existing processes to optimize efficiency and develop sales
  • Ensure strong communication between departments to establish collaborative, effective partnerships to advance regional retail strategy
Who you are:
  • 10-15 years of retail experience in the luxury industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest and motivation to work in a creative environment
  • Time sensitive, accurate, highly dependable and autonomous
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, follow through, and influence skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex work environment
