Description


Manager, Brand Strategy

Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Manager, Brand Strategy for the Consumer Insights & Experience Strategy (IXS) team. This position reports into the Senior Manager, IXS and is based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA. This role will require onsite presence at least three days weekly with two days reserved for remote work each week and adhering to J&J guidance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve strategic clarity across a diverse spectrum of design projects and needs through a clear viewpoint and articulated by a thoughtful and collaborative approach
  • Transform business goals and diverse insights into focused and concrete plans to drive forward quickly into design development
  • Cultivate, develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization and be one of the main points of contact with multiple business partners
  • Scope new opportunities to construct significant briefs and guide successful program direction
  • Articulate a thoughtful and collaborative approach to achieve strategic clarity across a diverse spectrum of design projects and needs

Enhance and grow brands in the Consumer portfolio:

  • Synthesize multiple inputs (trends, competitive landscape, marketplace dynamics, cultural context) to define insights that are the basis for structuring strategic solutions
  • Generate naming briefs and lead naming process/ideation (as needed)
  • Develop strategic frameworks (Purpose, Positioning, Value Proposition, Brand Voice, Personality, Brand Portfolio/Architecture, Messaging Strategies) through strategic analysis and workshops involving a broad spectrum of partners
  • Collaborate with a range of partners – marketing, design, insights, R&D – towards the shared goals of creating substantial brand experiences through the lens of design thinking
  • Craft and scope design research programs to best solve specific brand challenges

Qualifications


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (Branding, Communications, Journalism) is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of design leadership-related experience required
  • Validated experience in brand strategy, design thinking and naming
  • Must have strong visual, written and verbal communication expertise
  • Clear and concise writing, synthesis, speaking and presentation skills
  • Must have experience preparing and facilitating workshops, crafting insight-rich reports, stories, pitch decks and projects briefs

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 to $166,750
