About The Team


The M&A Support Team educates, facilitates, and guides those involved in our customers' Business Events with seamless and timely execution.


About The Role


An M&A Support Program Manager assists with a wide range of business changes, focused on coordinating the non-standard tenant and/or instance activities and required account updates that result from such events.In this role you will be tasked with accepting both customer and internal inquiries related to business events, researching fully to understand them, engaging the right people/teams to devise the correct solution and delivering the desired outcome to the customer. We do this in a way that puts the customer front and center, with the ultimate goal of delivering an amazing customer experience with every interaction!


Predominantly, key responsibilities include:


Being the first point of contact for both internal and external customers inquiring on next steps for their unique Business Event needs


Providing comprehensive advice on how Workday can support a customer through the acquisition of, or merger with another organization, be they a Workday customer or otherwise, as well as Tenant Management activities, including Data Center Moves


Supporting customers through the Offboarding process from one or more Workday products or services


Supporting internal teams and key collaborators by providing operational guidance throughout customer Business Events


About You


Basic Qualifications


  • Proven skills in Software Application and/or Case Management
  • Prior experience leading technical projects
  • Ability to identify dependencies between programs/projects and determine impact
  • Detailed and able to keep track of high volumes of data effectively
  • Experience running cross-functional teams
  • Consistent record of successfully handling more than one project at a time and delivering outcomes on time
  • Proven track record of collaborating and building strong relationships within a team
  • 3+ years of project management experience or 2+ years experience with delivery of Business Event support, or Customer Care/Tenant Management experience
  • High value for customers and customer success
  • Problem solver, capable of translating issues into simple terms to facilitate discussion and decision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • SaaS experience ideal (Salesforce, Jira, etc.)
  • Outstanding project management skills. Demonstrated understanding of product management methodologies (LEAN, PMI, Agile)
  • Demonstrated experience within functional areas of HR or Human Capital Management


Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States


The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton


Primary Location Base Pay Range: $102,800 - $154,200


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $82,400 - $154,200
