Go To Market Business Process & System Integration (GTM BPSI) at Salesforce is centrally led by Corporate Development’s Go To Market Process Integration Management Office (Corp Dev GPI). Under general supervision of an Integration Lead, this individual will support integration program management activities for GTM BPSI.


This is an office-flexible role for San Francisco, CA. In office expectations are 3 days/week to support customers and/or collaborate with your team.


Key Responsibilities


Provide integration program management support for specific M&A Integrations. Assign individual responsibilities and implement accountability, develop and maintain a project plan and schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.


  • Acquire Project Approval: Obtain project plan approval from collaborators to formalize the project management approach.
  • Close Contractual Obligations: Formalize final acceptance for the project from the sponsor/customer by ensuring that the completed integration aligns with agreed deliverables, agreed scope, and any organizational procedures to close contractual obligations.
  • Communicate with Others: Provide information to others both internal and external to the organization; represent the organization to stakeholders, customers and other external sources.
  • Execute Resource Allocation: Handle resource allocation proactively by ensuring that appropriate resources and tools are assigned to the tasks accordingly to implement the planned tasks successfully.
  • Handle Risks and Issues: Handle reporting and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, mitigations to risks, actions to close issues or complete open items.
  • Communicate Project Plan: Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the project plan to align stakeholders and integration team members. Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.
  • Monitor and Control Project Work: Measure project performance using appropriate tools to monitor progress of the project. Identify and quantify variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all collaborators.
  • Implement Project Plan as part of Salesforce’s M&A GTM BPSI Playbook: Create, update, and maintain project plans, weekly status reports and management reports.
  • Manage Change to Project Scope: Handle changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques to keep the plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan and facilitate stakeholder acceptance.
  • Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics with limited direction from the Integration Lead. Work directly with integration counterpart, other project leads, and ongoing operations to deliver successful integration and manage scope.


Required Skills And Experience


  • Strong interpersonal skills to support team building; builds mutual trust and encourages respect and collaboration among team members.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 7-10 years of integration program management related experience. Prior experience in GTM M&A Integration is a plus.
  • Ability to identify project risks by defining risk strategies and developing the risk management plan in order to reduce uncertainty throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to advocate a creative atmosphere, facilitates meetings, and envisions a final and overall acceptance early in the transformation phase.
  • Background working in an Integration Management Office or PMO environment and a good understanding of project management standard methodologies.
  • Broad understanding of GTM and Shared Services functions – Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR is a plus.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,200 to $190,000.


Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
