M&A Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in network integration of acquired entities
· Drive the implementation through cross-functional collaboration across all phases of the project lifecycle including all activities necessary to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control a new process or solution.
· Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, IT service owners to formulate strategy, define customer needs, validate requirements, and propose changes to business processes and operating models.
· Work with Business owners & IT owners to prioritize the deliverables.
· Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design & Cadence standard
· Create & maintain documentation from requirement, solution, delivery & support
· Identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues as needed.
· Review project tasks; track progress and provide accurate estimates for completion of tasks
· Provide on time status Projects, presentations to stakeholders & leadership team
Minimum Qualifications:
· B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent
· 10-12 years of overall experience in implementing infrastructure projects
· 7-8 years of experience in mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure
· Experience with one or more M&A Integrations
· Strong knowledge and experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, NAC, and infrastructure cabling.
· Strong experience with multi-vendor switching/routing, wireless technologies including Aruba and Cisco
· Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high level, complex technical problems
· Experience with IPSEC VPN and SD WAN
· Experience with troubleshooting with circuit carriers
· Nice to have experience with firewall technologies including Palo Alto Networks
· Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, BUs and IT teams at various levels within the organization
· Ability to write clear reports and maintain the important records
· Effective organizational and management skills
· Expert in time management and the ability for achieving the given tasks within the allocated time frame
· Excellent written & verbal communication skill is a must
