Sr. Internal Auditor (Cpa Or Cia)

Vale Group has partnered with an international publicly traded company in the materials manufacturing industry, based in Jacksonville, FL 32207 who is actively searching for an experienced Sr. Internal Auditor to work a HYBRID schedule. 3 Days in Office/ 2 Days from Home.

Some travel will be required to perform audits at the company's various office locations throughout the US.

The ideal Sr. Internal Auditor candidate should have at least 2 years of audit or financial experience, preferably with a public accounting firm or public company.

The Sr. Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing financial audits at all company locations at the direction of the VP of Internal Audit. They will gather and analyze data necessary to accomplish audit objectives on schedule and execute all audit programs thoroughly and accurately.

Salary: $85,0000 - $95,000

Sr. Internal Auditor Requirements:

• CPA, CIA are equivalent certification preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX
• MS Office
• Strong analytical skills

Sr. Internal Auditor Responsibilities:

• Apply frequent audit tests for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 in collaboration with audit team
• Conduct follow-up work as needed to validate the effectiveness of testing protocols.
• Travel to other company locations as needed to conduct audits
• Contribute to the development of audit plans, risk model updates, and audit processes
• Prepare and organize workpapers in a logical manner consistent with departmental procedure
