Job Description
About The Role
Williams Racing is hiring a Logistics Manager to join our New York City office. Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire e-commerce supply chain on a global level. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing inventory for consumer brands, ideally on a global scale, with the ability to strategize improvements to the process for efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot conflict orders to reduce time of order received and order shipped out.
  • Responsible for tracking product from manufacture to the respective destinations including warehouse, retail stores, etc. and onto the customer.
  • Inventory control to ensure stock counts are adequate to fulfil orders in a timely manner.
  • Manage logistics processes budgets.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), exchanges, and keep real-time inventory counts on damaged goods.
  • Assist customers and follow inquiries through resolution.
  • Develop cost-reducing strategies and improvement for efficiency.
  • Responsible for keeping policy and procedures up to date in our help center and online bot.
  • Manage inventory to ensure proper storage space based on forecasting.
  • Identify operational problems, suggest solutions, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and improve operational processes.
  • Own and manage relationships 3PL to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the movement and receiving of goods and report on delivery success and discrepancies.
  • Train and educate customer service team to resolve inquiries.
  • Manage customer complaints in a timely fashion.
  • Report on specific customer concerns, technical issues and escalate complex problems in a timely manner.
  • Report on key inventory data.
Requirements
  • Strong decision making, organizational planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 7+ years of experience working in logistics or supply chain. Ideally for direct-to-consumer brands
  • Experience working with 3rd party logistics is required
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • Strong prioritization and negotiating skills
  • Able to problem-solve and provide alternative solutions where necessary
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 + Annual Bonus
The annual base salary range represents our good faith estimate of the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
