Fleet Program Manager Jobs

Summary Project Management/ Planning/ Coordinating activities typically in the context of sites under a GE contract to address turbine quality issues to fulfill a customer need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles And Responsibilities

• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Install process excellence support for program/project governance, project reviews, etc.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• Responsible for the program management of fleet quality issues.
• For GE, also includes to Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program/project success
• Ensure that schedule, quality and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations
• Lead the site retrofit team and manage the execution of the Project scope of work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
• Minimum of 3 years of advanced experience in the Services & Retrofit/Upgrade and Site Management.

The salary range for this position is 76,700.00 - 102,200.00 - 127,800.00 USD Annual. The specific salary range offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
