About the Role:


As Medallion’s Licensing Lead, you will play a crucial role in the leadership of our Licensing team. Our Licensing Team is core to our business and is responsible for making sure licensing runs smoothly.


Compensation for this role may land between $60,000 - $80,000 + equity. Many factors are considered when determining pay including: market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.


Responsibilities:


  • Communicate clear instructions and be responsive to providers in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in team meetings alongside other leads to discuss licensing issues with clients, process improvement changes, and resource planning for new clients
  • Assess daily workload of team and distribute based on volume
  • Maintaining client relationships and account management
  • Support the team in understanding how specific tasks & initiatives layer up to broader company goals & objectives
  • Resolve issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, collaboration and critical thinking
  • Monitor SLAs to ensure the team is performing within set margins
  • Sustain relationships through effective organization/communication skills and build alignment even when conflicting views are present
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Weekly 1:1 with your team to review performance
  • Maintain and update client checklists and service as the daily point of contact for licensing escalations with clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries and keep the Licensing leadership updated on your ability to meet client requests and general expectations
  • Managing a team of Senior Licensing Specialists and Licensing Specialists
  • Take on new license types to vet them out and assist in preparing license updates for clients
  • Resolve day-to-day questions and blockers for your team and escalate priority issues when needed
  • Ensuring licenses are being processed appropriately, timely, and up to quality standards


We’re looking for someone who has:


  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner when interacting with providers and Medallion clients
  • Expertise in using GSuites tools include GSheets, GDocs, and GMail
  • High attention to detail including effective communications at all organizational levels
  • 3+ years of medical licensing experience, specifically primary source verifications (PSVs)
  • 2+ years of experience managing people in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated organizational and management skills to manage complex situations through planning, tracking, and resource allocation to meet business objectives and timelines
  • Experience with a broad range of states, IMLC, and NLC
  • Experience with state medical boards is a requirement
  • Experience developing teams and tracking team metrics
  • Familiarity with multiple license types is a bonus (PharmD, OD, NP, RN, LCSW) but expertise in Nursing is a requirement
  • Able to articulate next steps and action items required of providers
