About the Role:


Our Licensing Team is core to our business and is responsible for making sure licensing runs smoothly. You'll be joining a Licensing team of over 60+ people - including Coordinators, Specialists, Leads, Managers, Sr. Managers, etc.


This role reports to the Director of Licensing and base compensation for this role may land between $75,000-$110,000. In addition to base salary, Medallion offers equity and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Many factors are considered when determining pay including: market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.


Responsibilities:


  • Complete analyses on license files that have been in process past expected timeframes, summarize findings, and recommend actionable steps.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs and workflows as needed
  • Help resolve client escalations as they arise and assist in preparing license updates for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in licensing regulations and requirements across states.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal guidelines to facilitate smooth and timely licensing.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of employees through communication and improvements to each function and between each function
  • Collaborate with the product team to integrate research documentation into Medallion.
  • Communicate clear instructions and be responsive to providers and clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Research eligibility requirements for all states and provider types to determine qualification criteria.
  • Participate in short and long wide initiatives with the ability to project manage across various teams when needed
  • Use solid critical thinking skills to analyze high-level issues and find timely solutions with long-term success
  • Create client updates and participate in client calls as needed


Skills and Requirements:


  • 1+ years of experience managing people
  • Experience with licensing in all states
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in medical licensing
  • Experience building documentation such as SOPs
  • Experience working at a startup is a bonus
  • Experience working with a variety of provider types- MD/DO/PA, Nurses, Allied Health Providers, and Behavioral Health
  • Experience developing teams and tracking team metrics
