Job Description

Level 1 Technical Support Specialist

Department: IT

Reports To: IT Manager

Contract Period: September-1st 2023 to February 29th 2024

Summary:

The Level 1 Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing first-level support to our users. This includes answering phone calls, emails, and chat messages from users who are experiencing technical problems. The ideal candidate will have basic Windows administration skills and be eager to learn more about IAM and cyber security.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with Windows computers, printers, and other devices
  • Provide first-level support to users via phone, email, and chat
  • Administer user access to applications and resources
  • Document technical issues and solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT security best practices
  • Create and manage user accounts in Windows Active Directory and Sailpoint

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support
  • Basic Windows administration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
