Job Description

Potter Burnett Law is seeking a highly organized full-time legal assistant/paralegal with experience in Plaintiff personal injury cases. This position offers a competitive salary, health, long and short-term disability, and life insurance benefits, along with 401K and Profit Sharing. Our firm has recently grown to six attorneys all of whom practice plaintiff's personal injury, premises liability, and medical negligence.

We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of customer service to our clients and are searching for a new team member with a positive attitude to assist us in maintaining this standard.

Examples of Legal Assistant/ Paralegal Responsibilities:

  • Request, review and organize medical bills and records
  • Completing office tasks such as e-filing
  • This job is ideal for someone who is dependable, people-oriented, detail-oriented, and highly communicative.
  • Draft pleadings and discovery
  • Preparations of final client disbursements
  • Scheduling depositions
  • An understand of PIP and Medical Pay is a plus.
