Job Description
Title: Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator II

JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the Training & Development Team, the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator supports the business thru use of the LMS by creating, delivering, and reporting on learning and training.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
  • Create, maintain, and manage overall technical functionality and user experience within the learning management system (LMS).
  • Perform all duties for online learning content launch and assignments including maintaining a training asset database, upload, review, and test content, create training assignments and ensure proper transcript reporting.
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Generate standard and custom transcript reports as needed by the business.
  • Coordinate the creation and delivery of online, classroom offerings, and blended training programs using the LMS.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures, best practices, and guidelines for internal use of the LMS; communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to all levels of system users and stakeholders on LMS functionality and processes.
  • Manage the LMS Help Desk email inbox, assisting field employees with LMS enrollment and/or course issues
  • Perform regular quality assurance within the LMS.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve issues relating to system functionality and software in partnership with IT and the LMS vendor.
  • Build and manage curriculum structures and sets up course programs in collaboration with training and development specialists.
  • Coordinate and oversee LMS system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives for multiple companies and business units.
  • Work with leaders and key stakeholders to create and handle employee hierarchy, user groups and permission structures within the LMS.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise utilizing on the job training, continuing education, workshops, and vendor conferences.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience with Cornerstone on Demand, required.
  • Minimum of 2 years training coordination/LMS administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
  • Background or education in IT, Web Design, LMS Administration/Coordination or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in building positive relationships and working with colleagues and business leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze, organize and manage large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage multiple, emerging, and high-level projects in a fast-paced environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: The physical activities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking, and standing functions. The position also often involves sedentary work where sitting is required most of the time, with occasional standing or walking. The position also requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must be able to perform activities with close visual acuity, such as reading a computer screen and reading print material. The functions of this position are conducted in a temperature-controlled environment.
INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. This position requires the ability to deal with and find a resolution to problems and maintain a productive working relationship with employees which may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities daily while being responsive to needs as they arise.
