Job Summary and Description:
Within EPRI’s Learning and Development department, the Senior Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for understanding and applying industry trends, learning analytics, maintaining system documentation, interfacing with IT and other departments, and project management for LMS related tasks. The Senior LMS Administrator also provides ongoing administration, maintenance, reporting, expert-level technical support to users, and troubleshooting of complex issues.

  • Develop and maintain LMS documentation and procedures

    • Autonomously scope, implement, and prioritize approved projects

    • Mentor and train junior LMS administrators
    • Collaborate with IT and other department teams to align LMS with organizational goals
    • Conduct peer reviews associated with LMS functions and tasks
    • Collaborate with IT on LMS integration with other systems
    • Create and analyze LMS reports for management and communicate with stakeholders
  • Work with Instructional Designers and other stakeholders to identify and address LMS needs and requirements
  • Ensure the LMS is running smoothly and efficiently
  • Administer, Configure and Maintain the LMS
    • Ensure the LMS is running smoothly and efficiently
    • Manage user accounts, load course content, and configure system settings
    • Run various LMS reports and learning analytics
    • Test and evaluate LMS features and functionality
    • Work with Instructional Designers and other stakeholders to identify and address LMS needs and requirements

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in LMS project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred

    • Strong technical knowledge of LMS systems and technologies, preferred experience with Cornerstone On Demand and Blackboard or similar LMSs

    • Experience working with LMS integration and API's
    • Experience with data visualization tools
    • Experience with eLearning development and authoring tools is preferred

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience with a combination of technical and leadership experience
The salary range for this position is $83,810 USD to $113,390 USD annually.
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
