The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

Working under general supervision, the Training Coordinator II (LMS Administrator) provides Learning Management System (LMS) software support and administration in accordance with requirements specified per U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Detailed Work Instructions (DWIs). Provides outstanding service and support to internal customers at all levels of the organization. Assists managers in determining training needs and requirements. Utilizing the LMS software system, identifies, creates, and tracks training for all departments. Takes initiative to ensure work is done accurately and completely. Applies existing work methods to known situations and can recognize when escalation is required.

What You’ll Work On

  • Determine percentage of training successfully completed and inform managers when their training is complete, and documents can be released in the Document Control system.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Exhibit a positive customer service attitude.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure training is available when needed and completed when required.
  • Assist departments in defining training requirements and determining timelines.
  • Improve the current process for managing, monitoring and assessing past due training.
  • Work additional hours, days, or schedules (including other shifts, weekends, and/or holidays), if directed.
  • Input content into LMS using pre-determined organizational structure and naming conventions.
  • Supports all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Set up training audiences, certification trainings, courses, versional documents, and track in-class, online, onsite and offsite training within the LMS software.
  • Remain current on software changes and developments in field(s) of expertise.
  • Develop, run, and distribute reports as scheduled or upon request for management and/or internal or external audit purposes.
  • Manage the process that assigns courses to employees.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Perform other essential functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  • Resolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems, with more complex issues being escalated appropriately.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in professional environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong Communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • SumTotal (LMS System) experience or any Learning Management System experience
  • Experience in Medical Devices

The base pay for this position is $18.47 – $36.93 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
