Location/Division Specific Information

The Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries, increase efficiency, and ultimately change the world. We design, manufacture, and support the broadest range of high-performance microscopy and spectroscopy workflows that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.

Discover Impactful Work: The Sr. eQMS and Learning Management System Administrator, supported by local admins, is primarily responsible for configuring and maintaining the division's electronic QMS of which the LMS is an important element. This global role requires the ability to provide exceptional end-user support and to work and interact on different levels of the organization.

What will you do?

The successful candidate demonstrates ambition, contagious optimism and a “can do” demeanor. They lead by example and hold themselves and others accountable, while maintaining productive and professional relationships within the team. The primary tasks are as follows:

  • Uploads in-house or external developed content to Learning Management System compliant formats, creates quizzes, and evaluations or surveys, as needed.
  • Supports the communication/marketing of certain key trainings, including coordinating training workshops, aligning with MSD Quality Toolbox, and aligning related trainings across functions (EM University, NanoPorts, etc.).
  • Coordinates day-to-day working of the Learning Management System.
  • Will be main point of contact between eQMS vendor support and MSD's users / owner and work alongside vendor during issue resolution, as needed.
  • Responsible for all aspects of technical support related to the eQMS system and associated applications. This includes, but not limited to, end user support, issue resolution, password re-sets and user account management.
  • Play a key role in the eQMS implementation project.
  • Perform relevant User Acceptance Testing (UATs) for changes and upgrades.
  • Produces and analyzes monthly compliance reports and informs managers.

Education

  • System administrator training, preferably eQMS/LMS related.
  • Background in instructional or educational technology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or business administration.

Experience

  • Experience with day-to-day system support and performance monitoring.
  • Required 3 years experience in a previous Systems Administrator role for electronic QMSs, preferably, TrackWise Digital and/or SalesForce platform.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Able to work independently, be a self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization in a large company.
  • Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to effectively convey ideas to different levels in the organization, teams and 3rd party vendors.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Data analysis/reporting skills.
  • Ability to protect confidential information.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Expertise in implementing Learning Management Systems.
