The Job:


We are committed to offering dynamic and engaging training events that produce a best-in-class employee and learning experiences while supporting our global organizational strategy to be #1 in our industry. As the Training Coordinator & Communications Specialist, you will:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, instructors, and course owners
  • Coordinate activities for both onsite and virtual training events including scheduling training rooms, arranging catering, sending notifications, scheduling attendees and trainers, creating and preparing course materials including handouts, evaluations, and other training aides, and providing facilitation where needed.
  • Uses excellent communication, planning and project management skills to develop and manage calendarized training routines; marketing available training to employees and playing an active role in promoting training & development culture.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure applicability of course content with target audience and quality of training content & materials, managing both digital and non-digital development materials.
  • Manage administration of, and ensures completion of, onboarding plans, new hire, and annual training assignments.
  • Work within a Learning Management System (LMS) to set up classes, programs, rosters, and pull appropriate reporting data on completion, results of assessments, and other metrics. Develop metrics & reports for managers and senior leaders: measuring engagement, program effectiveness, soliciting manager and employee feedback and suggestions


The Person


You are an outgoing, high energy and enthusiastic person that enjoys interacting with people and teams daily. You have excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills, customer service skills and both verbal and written communication skills. You are effective in ambiguous environments; seeking clarity when needs and able to be nimble when faced with incomplete data or conflicting priorities. You also:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to convey materials and data in a modern visual manner
  • Knowledge on the Principles of Adult Learning or Instructional Design, a plus
  • Experience using virtual classroom technology for facilitation of distance learning programs (i.e.: Zoom, MS Teams)
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (i.e.: Workday, Success Factors) or People Management System (i.e.: PeopleSoft, Workday)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating training events or in an administrative role.
