Job Description
A tech services company in Maryland has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Training Specialist.


Responsibilities


The Training Specialist (Remote) will:


  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and of high-quality
  • Advise and makes improvement recommendations of the delivery of on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees
  • Assist new employees with onboarding training
  • Identify training needs and recommend advanced training solutions by working with business leaders and critical stakeholders
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant and moderately advanced training trends and technology
  • Develop advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions, bringing forth ideas for modernization and improvement
  • Perform other duties, as needed
  • Contribute to the completion of major training programs, the enhancement of reference material, and training and reference material
  • Applies advanced knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials
  • Engage with teams to practice continuous improvement in processes and tooling
  • Develop advanced training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Qualifications:


  • Training background with a focus o: eLearning, Instructor Led Training, Virtual Instructor Led Training
  • 8+ years of Training and Knowledge Management experience within the IT field.
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in creating, editing, and delivering online training using advanced, modern tools (e.g. Articulate (Rise 360 or Storyline 360), MyLMS) .
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or IT related discipline
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient (including Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint) and other related software applications.
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:


  • Experience supporting Federal, civilian and health agencies
  • CPLP
