Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP), a program of CMH, specializes in gender-based violence and power-based harm of students. RSVP’s mission is to work in collaboration with other on-campus and off-campus partners and stakeholders to reduce and prevent sexual, domestic, and dating violence, and stalking. RSVP serves as a haven for students by providing confidential counseling and advocacy services for those who have been harmed and for students to make changes on campus that impact interpersonal violence through our educational programs and peer outreach program, VOICE. We offer tailored workshops, awareness-raising events, and outreach activities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile accurate data and report program activities, goals, and needs (e.g., numbers of students, types of presentations and trainings, outcomes, etc.)
- Conduct evaluations of trainings (e.g., pre/post- tests, participant satisfaction, periodic evaluations, etc.), and contribute to the analysis and interpretation of evaluation results
- Prepare reports on the effectiveness of the violence prevention curriculum and delivery/educational methods
- Participate in outreach activities with various campus stakeholders
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned
- Participate in development and refinement of relevant curriculum program for violence prevention presentations
- Provide/deliver interactive presentations on affirmative consent, healthy relationships and violence prevention to students, faculty, and staff
- Act as a representative and advocate for the issues and concerns of students in the campus community surrounding the issues of dating violence and sexual assault
- Promote and schedule presentations to various sectors of the campus community, including on-ground/campus, off-campus, and online
- Monitor and track the number and types of presentations given on a monthly basis
- Promote violence prevention training products and services, and raise awareness of violence prevention resources through RSVP
- Assist in determining most effective violence prevention educational methods
This position provides services to increase awareness of bystander intervention, domestic, dating, and sexual violence and seeks to increase the development of healthy attitudes and behaviors that reduce gendered-based violence and power-based harm through the provision of sexual violence/dating violence prevention education and training to students, faculty and staff, either on-campus, off-campus or online.

USC Student Counseling and Mental Health provides mental health services to students so that they may achieve their academic and personal goals. Services we provide include: individual, couples and group counseling; assessment and referral to other professionals and institutions; crisis intervention (including some after-hours coverage); biofeedback; psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up; consultation; outreach and prevention; and training and supervision. The salary range for this position is $71,186.23 - $71,186.23 .
