We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Learning and Development (L&D) Business Partner to champion our culture and support the growth and development of our employees. In this role, you play a crucial role in helping leaders, teams and individuals build the skills and capabilities they need to achieve exceptional business results. You will work with a specific part of our business to assess performance issues or capability gaps and design and deploy solutions to meet those needs. You will also lead company-wide learning programs or projects to support our leadership and culture priorities. This role is based at our corporate offices in Bloomington, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine ROI and metrics to support learning initiatives and provide regular dashboards and reporting to the business
  • Assess organizational, leader and individual development needs and share a summary of those needs with the business
  • Design and deliver training
  • Create and execute learning and development strategies and programs in partnership with the business and HR partners
  • Support development planning and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Implement various learning initiatives within a business or across the company (e.g., coaching, mentoring programs, online training, facilitator-led sessions)
  • Support leadership coaching and development through assessments, development planning and training
  • Support the business in developing high-impact change management plans


Preferred Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Human Resources Development, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, or Instructional Design/Technology preferred

Years of experience: 8-10 Years of Related Experience: 3+ years’ experience in designing & developing learning or talent programs; HR Generalist or Consulting experience preferred

Key Capabilities and Experience:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on business performance
  • Able to develop a holistic view of talent or performance gaps, identify root causes, and suggest training or other development solutions
  • Strategic thinking, resourcefulness, and ability to ‘connect the dots’ with input from across the business
  • Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate diverse perspectives of business leaders, HR partners and COE (center of expertise) partners
  • Knowledge of talent processes, succession planning and leader assessments (preferred)
  • Comfortable facilitating in-person and virtual sessions for all sizes of employee groups
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Experience creating training modules and tools in MS PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Project management skills and ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects
  • Change management experience with ability to build holistic change plans to support business needs
  • Ability to consult, develop and deploy high-impact development programs in a highly dynamic environment
