The Learning & Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our various learning platforms to support the firm's training and development efforts. This position will also own the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) continuing professional education (CPE) process and other L&D initiatives.
System Administration:
- Generate and analyze reports on user activity, course completion rates, post-session feedback, if applicable, and other key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of learning programs
- Serve as the primary administrator for the L&D systems including the LCvista Learning Management System (LMS), OPUS and Amplifire and be responsible for user management, program and session administration, reporting, and system configuration
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the systems are updated and aligned with organizational needs
- Work with the Learning and Development Manager to monitor status of block hours for our content vendor partners including Becker, Surgent and LumiQ
- Troubleshoot user-reported problems, escalate technical issues when necessary, and track resolution progress to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users to address system related inquiries and issues
Program & Content Coordination:
- Manage the uploading, organization, and maintenance of learning content, including courses, modules, assessments, and resources
- Manage training calendars, invitations, and participant registrations
- Support the facilitation of training sessions and events, both in person and virtually, which includes tasks like recording sessions, tracking attendance, managing Q&A sessions, and monitoring chat interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the creation and maintenance of training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and other learning resources
- Ensure content is accurately tagged, categorized, and accessible to the appropriate audience
- Coordinate training programs and events both virtually and in-person, ensuring all logistical requirements are met, including but not limited to preparing attendee lists, agendas, catering, lodging and external venue arrangements
- Prepare and distribute training materials and resources to participants
CPE Administration:
- Ensure the firm's CPE process and system rules comply with boards of accountancy rules for all states in which the firm operates
- Process annual renewal of TSBPA firm CPE sponsorship
- Process CPE for firm-sponsored learning events into the LCvista learning management system
- Work with the Learning and Development Manager and Communications team to promote firm-wide learning opportunities
- Assist with annual NASBA audits to ensure timely adherence to the compliance process by providing required records and documentation
- Oversee the CPA continuing professional education (CPE) process within the firm, including managing vendor content, tracking completions, monthly CPA license renewals, and maintaining CPE records for the entire firm
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a public accounting or other professional services firm a plus
- LCvista, OPUS and/or Amplifire experience a plus
- Experience with CPE process a plus
- Strong client service skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the company
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, responsible and self-motivated
- Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills, especially related to technology
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years' hands-on experience supporting programs or events within a corporate environment or comparable experience
- Up to 25% travel - ability to travel to Rea offices throughout our regions as needed
