Summary
In this role, you will partner with management to identify, implement and lead strategic initiatives and develop sourcing programs. You will promote internal or external program optimization to deliver provider or supplier value. You will collaborate across the organization to ensure the appropriate internal and external parties are included in strategic conversations to address provider and supplier needs.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and track program success metrics and deliverables, including tracking program revenue and sales to identify cost savings for providers to convert business to Vizient programs.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews with key suppliers, distributors, and providers.
  • Partner with leadership to gather feedback on contracting decisions, best practices, and provide direction for program strategies.
  • Lead development and execution of program’s overarching structure, processes, and procedures to deliver provider value and drive contract commitment; develop long-term goals for executing sourcing strategies and activities which include “spot buying” and purchases that fall outside of category-specific buying.
  • Represent management in meetings and assist management with the resolution of escalated provider /supplier issues and concerns, including acting as an operational liaison to field questions and provide strategic consultation to stakeholders for sales opportunities and communicating program impacts.
  • Develop promotional materials and training for the program, focused on program components.
  • Partner with contracting teams to influence the negotiation of contracts, drive contract utilization, and onboard providers into key programs.
  • Lead peers in the analysis of program success and communicate program achievements, opportunities, and challenges to management.
  • Research and identify opportunities for new value propositions and capabilities, including recommendation and execution of process improvements for the assigned program.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong communications, customer relations, and project management skills strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a provider organization strongly preferred.
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong skills with contracting preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range
$102,400.00 - $152,200.00
