Junior Copywriter, Retail Ecommerce Content

Our client, one of the largest retailers and the first inventors of blue jean are hiring a Junior Copywriter to join their eCommerce marketing team remotely!

As a Copy Writer on this team, you will work with marketing, design, and product teams to create elevated, compelling copy content across their site, blog, email, mobile app, and paid media.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, on-brand copy, (with some personality)
• Ability to work through multiple rounds efficiently while taking in feedback from other teams.
• Support QA and proofing of creative prior to go live. Comfortable expressing opinion with all levels of management
• Dissect weekly creative briefs and produce compelling copy for our performance marketing channels (including site, email, app and paid media)
• Partner with marketing and design teams to clarify objectives, revise copy based on feedback, and ensure accurate of all project work
• Committed to keeping projects on track while keeping messaging on target
• Demonstrate cultural awareness with regard to content
• Build consistent executions across all channels and audiences
• Stay current on industry trends and share insights with key cross-functional partners, keeping the Levi’s® brand at the forefront of copy best practices

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a copy writing role for an agency or marketing team
• Expert in clear, concise, imaginative copywriting.
• Possess strong editing skills
• Work samples or portfolio required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior retail, eCommerce or Direct-to-Consumer experience preferred
