Job Description

Position: Sr. Digital Copywriter

Pay: $57/hour - $62/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Remote

As part of our Digital Marketing and Customer Experience team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and persuasive copy for various digital marketing channels, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and a high level of quality in all written content. Your primary focus will be to create compelling, results driven copy I all digital formats that effectively communicates our brand message to our target audience.


Job responsibilities:

  • Proofreading and editing: Review and edit all written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, citations, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Brand voice: Develop a deep understanding of our brand and maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Research: In addition to the personas and target research provided, there will be a need to conduct some research and/or interviews on industry trends, competitors, and clinical detail to inform the development of persuasive and relevant copy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross functional teams, including designers, videographers, UX teams, legal, regulatory, compliance and content strategists, to ensure cohesive, impactful user flows, IA, testing plans and compliant final copy.
  • Internal communications: Lead internal email and written communications for the digital marketing and communications department, including a heavy focus on the sales and executive audiences.
  • Content creation: Produce high quality, engaging and conversation-focused medical/disease focused copy for various digital marketing channels including website landing pages, e-mail campaigns, social media posts, paid search, video, blog articles, online advertisements, and more. Our content is designed for various audiences including physicians, surgeons, clinical and non-clinical administrators, infection preventionists and nurses.
  • Idea generation: Work independently and with team members to turn scientific/medical information and data into engaging content (e.g. whitepapers, infographics, videos) that meets business objectives and KPIs including peer-to-peer engagement and lead generation.
  • Testing and analysis: Utilize testing best practices and reporting provided to assess and improve the performance of copy across different digital channels, making data-driven decisions to optimize messaging and improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • SEO optimization: Incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) best practices into content creation to ensure maximum visibility and organic traffic.


Job Requirements:

  • Excellent research skills and intense curiosity in the areas of anatomy, disease states, procedures and treatments, clinical research and clinical data
  • MUST be experienced digital writer for social, email, web and other formats
  • B.S. in communications, English, Journalism, Sciences or similar.
  • 3+ years of digital and technical writing experience, preferably in a regulated pharma, biotech or healthcare environment with a portfolio showcasing high-quality, conversion-driven copy for various digital channels
