About the Role: We're on the lookout for a Direct Response Copywriter to join our creative team on a part-time basis! This role is not just about writing; it's about crafting compelling narratives for email and SMS campaigns that captivate audiences, drive engagement, and boost clicks and conversions. Beyond content creation, you’ll also need attention to detail to ensure our content is error-free, on-brand, and follows the brief.

Clients You’ll Work With: You will primarily be writing for health and wellness brands. Writing for these brands often requires a bit of technical expertise to ensure our educational content is accurate, properly cited, and doesn’t make claims we can’t back up. Outside of the health and wellness category, you may also have the opportunity to work with men’s grooming brands and a B2B media company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consistency is Key: Adhere to client brand guidelines to maintain a unified voice across all content pieces.
• Timely Execution: Efficiency is our mantra. All projects should be completed punctually.
• Direct-Response Copywriting: Create compelling, on-brand email and SMS campaigns that drive both clicks and conversions.
• Fact-Checking: Ensure that all information provided in the copy is accurate and reliable.
• Editing & Proofreading: Scrutinize every piece of copy to ensure it's free from errors, written to convert, and aligns perfectly with the brand's voice.

Job Qualifications:

• Have a passion for health, wellness, and men’s lifestyle industry
• Minimum of two years experience in writing direct-response copy for e-commerce brands that's impactful without being overly aggressive
• A team player with a knack for collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to marketing, communications, or writing
• An exceptional eye for detail, especially when it comes to typos and grammar
• Superior proficiency in both written and verbal communication

Bonus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Klaviyo is a plus
• Experience with ChatGPT
• A general understanding of separating good from bad graphic design aesthetics
