As the Copywriter, Marketing Communications for MissionSquare Retirement, you will be reporting to the Director, Content and Editorial and joining a team of experienced, passionate marketing professionals dedicated to serving our clients. You will take delight in strategy planning and writing creative, compelling content that drives results — primarily for our retirement plan sponsors and participants. This role will be the perfect fit for you if you are an experienced, highly motivated professional who takes pride in creating content to inspire clients.

Essential Functions for this role include:

• Collaborate with teammates within the Marketing Department and enterprise-wide to deliver materials that promote client engagement, adoption of our products/services, and asset retention and growth.
• Facilitate content proofing and compliance review requests for the Corporate Marketing team.
• Update and maintain company style guide, as needed, working with Marketing team members.
• Edit content and coordinate content reviews, ensuring quality and consistency of information and brand voice.
• Write compelling copy on retirement planning, financial, and investment-related topics for communications such as integrated campaigns, emails, websites, videos, digital newsletters, and presentation decks.
• Adhere to company’s tone and style for content creation and updates, with a working knowledge of AP Style.
• Coordinate the design process for formatted materials; create and update templates, as needed.
• Use content strategy and development best practices; ensure content accuracy and timely delivery.

If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF editing features.
• Strategic thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring content supports client needs and business goals.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work independently, problem solve, and function as part of a team that must perform quickly under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and updating content using industry best practices to result in data-driven solutions.
• Working knowledge of Adobe PDF editing features
• Minimum of three to five years of successful content development and editing experience, preferably within the retirement planning, financial services, or related industry.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office core products
• Highly effective written and verbal communicator
