Position Description:

The Associate Project Manager works directly with Program Managers to support our external client relationships and projects. The qualified applicant will become part of an accomplished Program Management team involved in delivering a state-of-the-art computer-based testing system.

Duties fall into these 3 areas:

• Project Management - (supports projects for customer implementations)
• Business Analyst – (understands software requests)
• Client Management - (support our external client relationships)

Additional areas include:

• Builds and maintains strong, lasting relationships with clients and customers
• Communicates clearly on expectations and project plans
• Is bright, dedicated, and passionate about technology and enjoys working with external and internal teams
• Supports in the development of project plans and reports to be shared with internal teams
• Support the Program Manager with project planning and client requests

Job Responsibilities:

• Acts as a backup when Program Manager is out
• Provides support to multiple Program Managers and projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Performs data analysis
• Manages email queue
• Solid technical foundation
• Assists with research and troubleshooting
• Manages test production and project schedules
• Coordinates schedules with external clients, Test Production and QA
• Performs system configuration and validation
• Interacts with clients (both written and verbal)
• Performs administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Writes documentation (user guides, release notes, etc.)
• Performs Post-Production Validation (QA)

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to quickly learn processes and correlate with outcome
• Associate degree or equivalent experience and a strong technical background
• Strong initiative and attention to detail
• 1 – 2 years project management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to take ownership and responsibility
• Have the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Client management skills including expectation setting, communication, and presenting
• Team-oriented with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills are essential
