Jira Solution Expert Jobs

Summary:Versatility is seeking a highly skilled Jira Application Solution Expert with agile IT project management expertise to support a lead client.The ideal candidate should be well versed in Jira solution administrative configuration and implementation, agile frameworks, portfolio/project management tools and practices, and data analytics.The Jira Solution Expert will work closely with multiple client teams to ensure Jira is fully optimized to support agile development processes at the team and enterprise levels.

Responsibilities:

• Implement product/project roadmaps to support enterprise and team level planning
• Support agile process improvement and agile transformation efforts for teams and enterprise
• Support agile education communication and content creation
• Create, configure, and optimize Jira dashboards, filters, and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into project status and progress
• Create enterprise agile process documentation, training, templates, governance standards, and frameworks for centralized use and standardized toolkit
• Support build of agile release and project plans/work breakdown structures
• Develop custom Jira plugins and integrations to meet specific business needs
• Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to current processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
• Lead Jira custom solution implementation best fit for the organization including enterprise portfolio and team management levels
• Compile enterprise level data metrics and build business intelligence dashboards from various data sources with use of automation/data mashup tools
• Advise on Atlassian and integrated tools best practices, guidelines and recommendations
• Configure and manage administrative Jira project settings (such as issue types, workflows, fields, and screens) as required for team and enterprise work management processes

Qualifications/Skills:

• Creative and innovative mindset approach to developing solutions
• Ability to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, along with measure and report performance
• Ability to quickly learn and understand specific client processes
• Must have working knowledge and experience with multiple delivery agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, Hybrid, and SAFe
• Advanced proficiency with Jira and Atlassian products (Atlassian certification preferred)
• Experience working with DevOps, Engineering, Application Development and Product Management teams
• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet and/or Airtable preferred
• Skilled at creating executive level presentations and product roadmaps
• Proven track record of successfully implementing Atlassian Jira products collaboratively and architecting solutions based on established best practices with use of administrative functions
• Excellent analysis, detailed-oriented, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5+ years of agile project management and/or portfolio management working experience in a software engineering domain
• Full-time availability
• Fully remote working capability
• CSM, PMI-ACP or other Agile proficient certification preferred
• 5+ years of Jira application solution implementation experience – administration, customization and optimization
• Jira/Atlassian certification preferred
• 6+ month contract position, 1099 or C2C
