Job Description

This is a remote position but requires an active TOP SECRET Clearance.


We are currently seeking a JIRA Admin / Developer to support our customer directly in a remote setting. The candidate's focus of support will be a combination of waterfall and agile solutions to support Infrastructure Technical Refresh efforts at the Department of Energy.


The ideal candidate will have experience providing front and back-end support in building solutions to support the areas of Program, Asset, Configuration, Service Desk, and Change Management.


Requirements

  • Investigate, troubleshoot and fix issues related to development, applications, application servers
  • Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and senior management to implement systems features that enable a combination waterfall and agile solution to support infrastructure tech refresh efforts
  • Recommend and set up Atlassian Plugins
  • Install, manage and support various development tools, testing tools and monitoring tools
  • Recommend and design standard and custom JIRA workflows and
  • Install, configure and maintain Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
  • Plan, architect, design and build Atlassian JIRA/Confluence environments
  • Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools


Qualifications


  • Demonstrated experience in writing scripts and automation
  • Experience configuring JIRA modules and selecting useful add-ons
  • Excellent understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
  • 10+ years of experience with Agile framworks, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence including tool administration and customization
  • Experience in a supporting technical discussions with customers


Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree


Clearance Required:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.
