Infinity Ward has opened a brand-new studio in Austin, TX. The studio will work on creating new and innovative experiences for Call of Duty® and create state of the art technology to power them. Your Mission

As an IT Technician at Infinity Ward, your mission is to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems and tools used by our game development and production teams. This includes providing efficient and effective technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software. Your goal will be to minimize downtime and interruptions to the workflow, allowing our employees to focus on what they do best: creating the best gaming experiences possible. In addition to providing technical support, you will also strive to develop a productive and enjoyable work environment for our employees. This includes promoting collaboration, communication, and facilitating the use of new technologies and tools.

We understand that the gaming industry is constantly evolving, and so are the technologies and tools used to create games. You must be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the field, and incorporating them into your work to ensure that we are providing the best possible support to our employees

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently with a wide variety of teams and users, resolving issues quickly and efficiently
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Handle custom hardware builds and installation of render farms, bullpen play test areas, user testing rooms, conference rooms, and offsite events including trade shows, gaming conventions, etc.
• 2+ years of experience providing IT support
• Knowledge of common networking issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
• Experience setting up user accounts, hardware, software, and peripherals for users, supervising and maintaining inventory/asset tracking, as well as providing orientation for new users
• A friendly demeanor and good attention to detail

Extra Points!

• Have familiarity with: Adobe Creative Cloud, Audio/Video Equipment, Autodesk 3ds Max or Maya, Confluence, Exchange, Jira, Networking (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points), Slack, Source control (Perforce or git), video game consoles (Xbox or PlayStation), Zoom.
• Have previous experience at a video game or software development company.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
