Business Technology(BT) in Workday continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers. The Program and Business Operations team works with stakeholders within BT and outside to define, align on, and implement the strategic programs and operations. The team is also responsible for standardizing program methodologies, tools and operations/metrics across the BT organization to provide a unified experience to business stakeholders and customers.

• Report to senior management ITAM/life cycles and resolve conflicts.
• Responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items required to deliver IT services.
• Be the liaison for the financial operations related to IT, including contract renewals, expense optimization, and budgeting.
• Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the asset management lifecycle.
• Develop and conduct training as needed for use by department level staff to maintain inventory.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes
• Collaborate with finance teams to track IT expenses, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective software asset management.
• Account for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.
• Establish and maintain processes to track software licenses, ensure compliance, and optimize software usage.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Formulates and implements processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement.
• Collaborate with procurement to standardize and evolve software procurement processes.

• Proven experience as an IT Asset Manager or in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of IT asset management principles, best practices, and industry standards
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including hardware, networks, and data centers
• Excellent understanding of budget planning and management
• Proficiency in using asset management tools and systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CMDB) are a plus.

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $103,900 - $183,600
