Scope
IT Systems Administrator II is responsible for administration, support, and maintenance of Brightway applications ensuring high performance, scalability, and stability. In this role you will get the opportunity to interact with multiple facets of the Brightway organization as the support for all departments within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical, analytical and customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform server hardware and software administration functions including maintenance, patching, updates, system backups, security roles, and profiles.
• Create and deploy scripts using PowerShell, VBS, Python, or command line interface for software distribution, group policy application and system management.
• Support and maintenance of Azure O365 (understanding distribution groups, access groups and security groups)
• Perform high-level diagnostics, root cause analysis, and escalated support for the IT Help Desk.
• Knowledge of implementing and effectively developing systems and Service desk operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
• Demonstrated experience in day-to-day activities and support of Azure O365 products including Exchange Online, Teams, Sharepoint and OneDrive.
• Oversee process optimization and identify new opportunities for innovation and improvements to existing processes and procedures.
• Azure Active Directory support and Administration (Group policy, permissions, account provisioning, DLP policies, security & compliance, threat analytics)
• Responsible for administration, configuration, deployment and decommission of server systems and applications.

Education, Certifications And Experience

• Professional level Certifications for Azure, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional, or any other relevant certifications are preferred and may be used in leu of 1 year of relevant experience per certification.
• 5 years of experience in a Systems Administration role within an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in the use of PowerShell/VBScript.
• Knowledge and understanding of infrastructures both in the data center and the Cloud, particularly an Azure Environment.
• Experience in Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with PCI DSS compliance preferred.
• Power Automate, Power apps
• Knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
