It Security Specialist I

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Specialist I to join our LASSO II team located at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL.

JOB STATUS Full-Time

TRAVEL

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

• U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree plus one year of related experience; or High School Diploma plus three years of related experience

SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree

CERTIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE LEVEL Experienced (Non-Manager)

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Curious, always learning, and not afraid of asking questions if there is something you don’t know
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment, ability to foster strong relationships with mixed technological experience such as auditors, business professionals, and engineers
• Experience in application development, IT systems, project implementation, risk management, audit, compliance, and other IT related security fields.
• Ability to work independently and in a well-organized way with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
• Working knowledge of fundamental computer and networking technologies and the underlying protocols they are built on

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and manage POAMs
• Update the ITSEC Enterprise Data Warehouse (ITSEC-EDW) where supported
• Develop IT Security Plans
• Create and manage Risk Based Decisions (RBD/s)
• Elicit implementations from LASSO Systems Integrator and or SMEs
• Update RISCS compliance system
