The IT Auditor role involves performing audits related to financial and IT compliance requirements and supporting internal projects, while communicating with business and IT leadership.

General Responsibilities:
- Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by leadership, including supporting tasks related to cybersecurity, information security, data privacy, and system implementation
- Recruit applicants, support interviews, and partner with other new auditors
- Assist in preparing various audit reports for business and IT leadership
- Communicate audit concerns timely to team lead
- Execute audit plans consistent with compliance requirements that address various IT risks
- Attend various audit meetings while managing and communicating all issues timely
- Other duties as assigned.
- Manage personal work tasks and report progress to team lead
Required Qualifications:
- Eligibility requirements met for the CISA, CISM, CIPP, CPA or equivalent exam with ability to be certified within two years of employment
- Strong analytical skills; organized, and detailed-oriented
- General knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, etc.), databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of IT controls that support financial and operational business processes
- Basic knowledge of general business applications (Workday, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.).
- High degree of self-discipline and motivation
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Information Technology or similar field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or similar field.
- Basic knowledge of insurance applications (AMS360, TAM, AIM, EPIC, etc.).
- Knowledge of key insurance business processes (Sales, Underwriting, Claims, etc.).
