Overview Of The Role
The IT & Operations Consultant II is responsible for managing a portfolio of clinically integrated multi-specialty practices and is accountable for driving overall performance results.
Primary Job Duties
  • Act as liaison between Care Centers and key Privia business functions to drive alignment, set expectations, and help optimize service delivery.
  • Manage expectations with Care Centers as they relate to timeframes and service delivery.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for MSO joint venture between Health First and Privia as it relates to operational and technology services.
  • Create and report on KPI trends and performance, highlight key insights and strategize on opportunities to improve end user efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge in key software platforms such as athenaHealth’s. Performance Management System and electronic health record.
  • Work with IT counterparts and consultants to identify root causes of any performance issues with technology platforms, including but not limited to the EMR and practice management system(s).
  • Roll out and communicate new Privia initiatives
  • Re-engineer process flow for technology tickets to efficiently effectuate needed changes with user credentials and access standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for key stakeholders and end users
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant health care topics and share information as appropriate.
  • Develop presentation materials, as appropriate, to communicate the status of actionable initiatives.
  • Communicate and teach Privia's best practices when appropriate.
  • Project management and large scale operations and technology change efforts, including system upgrades, software implementations, and broader system migrations.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to physician partners to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied.
  • Acts as a SME for Privia Health’s technology platform and workflows and liaison to other Privia stakeholders.
  • Work with individual providers and administrative staff to optimize network, hardware, software, and technology workflows.
  • Collaborate with the teams to perform current state workflow assessments and develop training plans based on findings.
Qualifications
  • Comfort in functioning independently and autonomously and can effectively build a case to effect change. Demonstrates the judgment to appropriately escalate situations as necessary..
  • General understanding of Population Health Management and how it applies to risk-based contracts.
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience required, particularly working with physicians and medical group staff
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred.
  • Project management experience, juggling multiple projects and urgent deliverables while providing exceptional client service
  • Quantitatively and financially proficient; must know how to read, interpret and explain financial data
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
