We are looking for someone to work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that our company is using the most up-to-date technology to run our business. Ensure that the hardware and software used by our company is compatible, secure, and scalable. Be responsible for managing the internal network and providing support for our staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
• Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.
• Assist IT department head with leading and training IT staff.
• Provides leadership and support of all department activities, leading a team of information technology professionals.
• Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
• Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
• Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components. Research event-log warnings and errors; monitor resources to ensure systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
• Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
• Provides input and recommendations to leaders for progress towards company objectives.
• Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.

Job Requirements:

• This job requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field and 5 years of experience in IT management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.
• Working knowledge of Unix systems administration; Azure and AWS; Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments; Microsoft Office 365.
• Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems; creating volumes and assigning them to servers and remote replication.
