JOB DESCRIPTION: IT Application Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Application Support Specialist to join our Advisory Department in our Carlsbad, CA office. As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. NOTE: This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate daily with teammates to provide excellent & quick support to our internal teams and external clients from an IT perspective.
  • Produce detailed documentation of processes and resolutions.
  • Write knowledgebase articles, blogs, and other content to contribute to FMT’s marketing efforts.
  • Provide technical training to client administrators and end-users.
  • Administer employee on-boarding & off-boarding procedures for IT applications, systems & hardware.
  • Provide support of Microsoft technologies, focusing on Office 365 and Azure environments.
  • Provide support & error resolution for online application & tool connection issues.
  • Provide end-user desktop support, including setup & resolving hardware issues, managing software updates, and user security & password resets.
  • Provide support of enterprise applications, focusing on Salesforce, ZenDesk and TenRox.
  • Follow guidelines for triaging and escalating to Tier 2 resources.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for external clients on Microsoft stack, NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Track and manage open cases to resolution within ticketing system.
  • Interact with FMT’s ticketing system and FMT’s clients to properly assign, prioritize, troubleshoot, resolve, and update tickets and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an end-user support environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, ITSM, PSA, etc), preferably SaaS: NetSuite, Salesforce, ZenDesk.
  • Computer literacy required, including advanced Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • 1+ years in help desk, enterprise applications support, systems administration, or technical IT support role.
  • Understanding of the following technologies: Office 365, Azure, Windows Microsoft Server and Desktop OS’s.

  • Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without a great deal of guidance
  • Heightened sense of urgency and deadline driven
  • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical/logical thinking skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed
  • Ability to resolve support tickets efficiently, both remotely and by travelling on-site to a client

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
