This role focuses on diffusing the mindset of innovation in an engaging manner. Additional Details:
- Please note, while this is a regional position, there is limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work off-site. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
- This role is offered as a regional workplace position and Employees must work in the region they support. This could require working from a mix of on-site Company facilities and remote based offices to perform the job function in a regional location determined by business need. Each Department will provide Employees with guidance on when and where presence is required with as much notice as reasonably possible.

Job Summary
- The Innovation Engagement Specialist is familiar with human-centered design and brings a diverse toolkit of skills to design and execute communications in a highly collaborative environment to keep stakeholders informed and engaged in the innovation process. This individual will work with multi-disciplinary teams and use insights to craft clear and compelling stories of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and measures impact of communications to continually refine and optimize
- Executes content development through a variety for formats including memos, presentations, stories, videos, exhibits
- Serves as a liaison with our internal Partners to stay informed of complementary efforts to ensure communications are thorough dependencies are understood
- Designs and plans communications to support Innovation efforts
- Works proactively with departments impacted by Innovation to understand communication needs and disseminates information in a timely manner
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Preferred Figma experience
- Preferred photography experience
- Ability to develop trusted relationships across a large organization
- Preferred video editing experience with Premier Pro Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to create compelling content that meets audience needs
- Intermediate knowledge of Human Centered Design
- Ability to communicate effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
- Intermediate knowledge of communication best practices
- Ability to handle high volumes of work with ability to prioritize effectively and hit promised timelines
- Skilled in designing communication plans and evaluating their impact
- Skilled in communication and storytelling
- Knowledge of a wide range of content creation approaches
- Preferred digital format experience
- Skilled in writing, filming, editing, photography, and the Adobe Creative Suite
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Business Strategy

- Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive market salary from $60,050 per year to $66,700 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
