Job Title: Sales Specialist - Dona Blanca Foods
Job Summary:
As a Salesperson at Dona Blanca Foods, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling our exceptional range of food products to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with clients, generate new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, a passion for food, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation: Proactively identify and target potential customers to promote and sell Dona Blanca Foods products, including engaging with retailers, restaurants, cafes, and other foodservice establishments.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products.
3. New Business Development: Identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to expand the customer base and increase sales.
4. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Dona Blanca Foods' product portfolio, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, in order to effectively communicate and present them to customers.
5. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives on a regular basis, while ensuring proper tracking and reporting of sales activities.
6. Negotiation and Pricing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, while maintaining profitability for the company and ensuring customer satisfaction.
7. Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to provide feedback, insights, and suggestions based on customer interactions and market feedback.
9. Sales Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software and other reporting tools.
Requirements:
1. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential, as you will be required to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. This includes conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing customer support in both languages.
2. Previous Sales Experience: Proven experience as a salesperson, preferably in the food industry or a related field. Experience with foodservice establishments and retail customers is a plus.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively present and negotiate with clients.
4. Results-driven: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and meet deadlines consistently.
5. Relationship Building: A natural ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
6. Self-Motivated: A proactive and self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
7. Product Knowledge: A genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn about Dona Blanca Foods' products to effectively sell and promote them.
8. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics, customer preferences, and industry trends.

10. Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
