The Regional IT Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting company’s manufacturing and logistics locations throughout North America. The primary responsibilities are to help support, design, implement, and upgrade production applications, processes, and procedures for our North America locations. A deep understanding of end-to-end of manufacturing strategies, planning, applications, support, and quality are key to success in this role. The role is responsible for facilitating the capture of business requirements, designing development documentation, configuring solutions, conducting thorough unit/integration testing, providing production support and meeting agreed upon expectations. Collaboration with other project members in IT and cross functional business units is required to optimize applications and process that meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
• Gain in-depth understanding of manufacturing a operations processes and technology
• Provide in-depth research, analysis, audits, and documentation for various business needs
• Assist in gathering requirements for data solutions to ensure a thorough understanding of business requirements and expectations.
• Work collaboratively with project team members, business units, and third-party services to develop and implement solutions that provide new operational capabilities and create process efficiencies for simple to complex business needs
• Understand design gaps and develop transition plans to eliminate mitigate these gaps.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of processes
• Assist in the creation of system usage documentation and training materials for newly created functionality
• Participate in transition efforts and employee acceptance of new or changed IT systems and integrations
• Ensure scalability of solutions that use the most appropriate tools and technology
• Provide project management and status reporting
• Work with stakeholders to understand tradeoffs and achieve consensus
• Proactively communicate functional and technology principles to stakeholders to maximize efficiency and drive business value
Requirements
• Thorough understanding of company processes and applications.
• Solid understanding of MES, PLM, Supplier portals, and other system functionality and best practices within company
• 2-4 years of experience as a technical analyst
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Must possess excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding and experience working with Agile methodology
