Title: Director, IT Operations

Salary: Up to $190,000 + 20% Bonus

Location: Florida (Hybrid 3 days in office)

Forsyth Barnes are supporting an extremely exciting hospitality organization on the hunt to hire a top notch Director, IT Operations leader. This role will own the running and management of technical infrastructure operations, networking, server support, data centre operations, cloud services and help desk. You will also manage a team of system admin's and be responsible for future hiring in this area.

This organization has a great atmosphere and quirky culture which brings a different flavour to an IT Operations role. We are looking for a hands on professional with ambition to achieve all goals put in front of them, eliminate security risks and increase system reliability for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 3rd party L1/L2 support where needed and identify and recommend new technology solutions to improve upon current processes.
• Manage and oversee cloud (GCP), local servers and networks and educate others around the scalablity, performance and cloud security requirements for all platforms.
• Work with other IT teams such as security to eliminate vulnerabilities and Development, Data, Architecture and Cloud teams to design solutions and deliver technical value.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures, metrics for hardware, software and storage to maintain and/or uplift department performance.

Key Requirements:

• Great knowledge in working in an agile environment for solutions architecture and the design of business critical applications.
• Want to be hands on and truly digging deeper into business problems across IT Operations and delivering highly thought out solutions where needed.
• A minimum of 4 years experience managing System Administration teams and previous experience working with 3rd party service providers for IT support.
• Proven experience in GCP cloud architecture and managing various operating systems, network, application security.
• Deeper understanding of cyber security and ability to identify platform vulnerabilities.
