Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Systems Security Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to use your experience and skill supporting current operations and future Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) strategy, plans, and design. The IA Specialist supports the assessment, design, implementation, and sustainment of information systems security for experimental and operational ABAD capabilities in Europe. **This position is located in Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment)**NO REMOTE WORK**

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and recommends additional security requirements and safeguards where required.
• Assists in the implementation of required government policy (e.g.,, NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring.
• Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports for obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
• Supports the formal Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
• Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family. Plays a key role in implementing projects and programs in the function.
• Performs assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Periodically conducts a review of each system’s audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Strong interpersonal skills, be customer oriented, and must operate independently
• Familiar with and have basic operator skills with Microsoft Office and administrative level skills with Microsoft SharePoint
• Possess knowledge of information systems security design and maintenance, fault isolation, performance monitoring, configuration management standards, principles, and techniques
• This position is located in Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment)
• Ability to assess, implement, and maintain DoD Risk Management Framework and information systems security requirements and standards of practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Security (or equivalent)
• Secret Clearance is required
