Information Security Engineer Jobs

Under general direction from the CISO, this engineer role is accountable for the oversight and execution of initiatives in support of MGMC’s Information Security control framework with a focus on security operations. Security Operations include key detection and response capabilities to collect, detect, triage, investigate and respond/contain threats before they become significant incidents. This technical position is responsible for establishing MGMC’s security operations center (SOC), supporting incident response efforts (planning and execution), developing analysis techniques, playbooks and detection use-cases, creating metrics and strategies for SOC improvement and implementing training to subject matter experts and configuration item (CI) owners. This role will lead threat hunting/threat intelligence activities and basic triage/forensic activities. Additionally, this role will support technical security engagements such as external and internal penetration tests with the support of the CISO and IT management.
